RUSTARK team delivered a report “Import Substitution of Modified Starches as a Factor of Technological Independence for Meat Industry” and presented a wide range of ingredients and new technological solutions to the participants of the 8th Russian National INTEKPROM MEAT 2026 Forum.

Meat industry professionals showed a strong interest in all RUSTARK ingredients, with particular attention paid to the company’s developments in modified starches and their application in various meat products. RUSTARK’s “Modified Starches” project implementation is a strategically important step for the domestic manufacturer, as providing critical components is one of the key principles of the Russian Food Security Doctrine. Today, import supply chains are easily disrupted by sanctions, quotas, border closures, or currency payment issues. In-house production of a wide range of modified starches from various raw materials in the Russian Federation will ensure that meat processing industry has been provided with the required grades of modified starches of appropriate quality, thereby providing stability, the desired quality of finished products, and improved economic efficiency for meat processing productions.


Fruitful negotiations with current and potential clients regarding the use of RUSTARK ingredients have been carried out, and work plans have been discussed and outlined.
